Some astounding work from paper engineer Matt Schlian. Hard to believe that some of these pieces are made solely by folding and glueing paper. What is even more fascinating however, is how his work has led him to partner with scientific researches, producing paper models that help solve scientific problems – how to maximise light capture in solar sells, how mis-folding might help in the understanding of alzheimer’s.
