Bridget Riley
Dec 17, 2019
Always fan’s of her graphical work, this exhibition of Bridget Riley’s work over the past half century is a starting collection of her output, the largest to date – from the black and white early pieces of the 60’s through to current work. Also shown are many examples of the draft drawings on graph paper used to work out and refine the patterns before producing the final work. Her ability to simulate movement and flow within a static pattern is quite extraordinary.
Showing at The Hayward Gallery until January 26th 2020.
