Bob Mazzer’s photography
Feb 24, 2020
We were recently introduced to the work of Bob Mazzer, London-born photographer now residing on the south coast. Although his work covers many subjects and locations, it seems he is best known for a series of images he took on the London Underground through the 70s and 80s, whilst travelling to work and back. They brilliantly capture the diversity and juxtapositions of the passengers, whilst documenting the fashions of the time, wooden tube floors, smoking on the tube, and a lack on mobile phones. A collection of his underground images were published a while back, but a more affordable new book covering some of his work has just been released.
